Results of the Bantu Braids

So of course I love the volume created by Bantu Knots. However, the volume gradually dissipates and it can be time consuming for such a short lived look. So I braided my hair first, then Bantu Knotted (is a a word? Oh well) the braids so when it fell it had texture instead of flat hair. I love braid outs and volume. So I decided to combine them. I wore the Bantu Knots for about two days before I took them down. At night, I put my hair in a loose pineapple to preserve the look. Just concentrate on the hair. I am still perfecting the selfies. 😊

A year ago today-1/19/18

Another super fun night. Where does a year go? Always fun with this beauty. I can still remember every detail before and after this night. Lol. I love a Bantu knot release. Lol. They produce so much volume but for such a short period of time. Maybe two days. Of course, layers would help but I am happy with my natural layers. Totally not ready for a haircut. The volume is vavoom! Just huge and bouncy! I am about to do this again with a little twist. I am going to braid it and then create Bantu knots. So perhaps when the volume dissipates, then I will still have the braid out look. Let’s see! I will post pictures!

Day 1797- 4 years, 11 months, and 2 days!

A braid out never fails! You can always depend on this look to exude personality, volume, and waves. You will feel like you just had your hair done! We all love that new new. A braid out will last until you are over it or your next wash! However, you will not ever get tired of it because your hair falls and creates a new look every day. I braid, then wash to avoid slippage to my edges but you can wash then braid. I usually keep the braids in at least 24 hours. Longer if I can take it. This particular braid out has withstood four intense work outs this week and tons of other activities. Quick, easy, and stylish!

11 Month Difference!

What a difference 11 months make. The naked eye may not be able to see the difference. Thank God for color or I would not be able to tell either. 😊 I still holding on to the longer pieces on the bottom. I am waiting until it grows a tad bit longer. Then I may even it out and keep my pseudo layers. Both these pictures are immediately after my hair is retightened. I put my on my earrings and lipgloss (something @omystudio always implemented) and twirl in front of the mirror admiring myself. Lol. Vanity. I tell Precious, “Omg, I love my hair!” Every time. It’s true. I love this hair!
